Store Owner and Store Manager Log In

This article will walk you through the steps to verify your login credentials, update your temporary password, and review access within the Grab Merchant app.

1. Log-in Credentials Received via Email

When you sign up as a Grab Merchant, Grab sends your initial login credentials to the email address you provided during registration. Here's how to locate and use these credentials:

✅ Check Your Inbox.

Look for an email from Grab containing your login details. It may be titled “Welcome to Grab Merchant”

✅ Details in the Email.

The email will typically include: Your username (often your registered email address). A temporary password for your first login.

2. Changing Your Temporary Password

For security purposes, Grab requires merchants to change their temporary password upon their first login. Follow these steps to update your password:

✅ Log In to Grab Merchant App.

  • Open the Grab Merchant app or portal.

  • Enter your username and temporary password received via email.

✅ Prompt to Change Password.

  • Upon your first login, you will be prompted to set a new password.

✅ Create a Secure Password.

  • Ensure your new password is strong and secure. Use a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters.

  • Avoid using easily guessable information like your name or store name.

✅ Confirm the Password Change.

  • Save the changes.

3. How to View Access in the App

Grab Merchant provides tools to manage and view access permissions directly within the app. This allows owners and store managers to ensure all users have the appropriate level of access.

✅ Log In to Grab Merchant App.

  • Use your updated credentials to log into the app.

✅ Navigate to the “More” tab.

  • Find the “Account”.

  • Look for a section labeled “Personal profile”.

✅ View Personal Profile.

  • In the Profile section, you can see the role assigned to you (e.g., Owner, Manager, Cashier).

4. Manage Access.

  • If you’re the owner, you can modify or revoke access for other users as needed.

  • Go to “Employees”, select the employee access and tap “Disable”.
